Did you know that the name Carrot Stix came from
the word NANO CELLULOSE BIO FIBERS?
Well, it's true, because the Bio Fibers used to make the fishing rod tighter and more responsive actually come from real carrots—thus the name Carrot Stix!
Our rods had been developed by a world-renowned Science Lab, owned by Ontario Inc. (www.ontarioinc.org), an innovative technology company that brought our brand into the marketplace. The bio fibers add to the bonding matrix to create a super strong bond called “bio-polymer”, which is used in the creation of our high end quality graphite blanks. Nano Silica Technology refers to the Nano size micro-spheres of silica that when added to the special resin, it improves compression strength up to 75%, making the blank even more durable without adding weight.
The Carrot Stix fishing rods were introduced at the 2007 ICAST show, and walked away with the unprecedented THREE BEST OF SHOW WINNING categories. Now Carrot Stix is managed directly by Ontario Inc., utilizing relationships with secured supply chain management and ensuring customer satisfaction. With offices in Canada and the United States, Carrot Stix caters to countries all over the world, and is committed to the Outdoor Sports Industry and will continue to strive for perfection in all product Categories.
Since 2007, Carrot Stix has won more than 47 Awards, including Best Product of the Year several years in a row, Most Innovative Product, and most importantly has won the respect of over 500,000 amateur and professional anglers.
